12oz bottle. Pours a rich dark black color with a thin brown head that falls to a thin cap leaving light lace. The aroma is of chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt, with a little alcohol in the background. The flavor is chocolatey up front and lots of roasiness and coffee in the middle and the finish thatis very creamy. There is a little bit of an alcohol presence all the way through. The mouthfeel is full bodied, rich, medium carbonation.

Bottle poured into a tulip. Dark brown color with tan/brown head. Nose is raisins, roasted malt and coffee. Was hoping the coffee aroma would be more prevalent. Taste is initially sweet, with a chocolatey/coffee bitterness finish. A little too sweet and not enough coffee for me.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: SEP 27, 2013 Bottle in my shed. Pours black. Nose is coffee, heavy chocolate espresso, some alcohol, and faint nuts (almond) and tobacco. Flavor is rich, sweet, chocolate coffee. Hints of heavily roasted malt are laced throughout and dark chocolate dominates with a very chewy and full mouthfeel. Bitter aftertaste. Not hoppy bitter but coffee bitter. Excellent stout.

12 oz bottle thanks to dogday. Pours black with a small head that quickly fades to a ring. Aroma is packed with fresh lightly roasted coffee and also some dark chocolate, and oats. Taste is obviously fresh roasted coffee as well. A nice light sweetness up front and it turns moderately bitter with dark chocolate and oats in the finish. Maybe a touch of dark fruit too. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel with a nice oiliness too. Really great imperial coffee stout. Wish it was on shelves near me.

12oz bottle, Thanks whoever sent it to me, I’ve forgotten :( , good looking beer, 1.5 finger head, mocha colored looks tasty, nose is coffee duh, taste is lightly acidic then finishes bold and coffee like. For someone who doesnt drink black coffee I love a good coffee stout, just needed some more body to me.

Bottle. Coffee, charcoal, chocolate, a a little dark fruit, and boozy aroma. Black with a moderate brown head. Charred coffee, chocolate, earthy oat, and prune flavor with a roasty bitter finish. Full slick body, moderate carbonation.

A- Pours a dark black with a tan head. Bad pour on my part so not enough head to leave a decent lacing.
S- smells like a medium roast coffee with hint a chocolate coming though on the nose.
T- Coffee but its not over powering as you still get notes of the oatmeal stout underneath.
M- Medium bodied with a solid coating. light to medium carbonation.
O- A very good coffee stout. true to the sense on the coffee but it still lets you palate other notes from the beer.
