Pours an opaque dark brown brew with a thin tan head that quickly dissolves to a fine film and no ring. Aroma of toasted dark malt, dark chocolate, oatmeal, dark roasted coffee and a touch of molasses. Taste is smooth, thick, low carbonation with flavors of oatmeal, chocolate and dark coffee. Finish is smooth, creamy with a slight coffee aftertaste and slight metalic alcohol flavor. golubj (1287), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Flavor is similar to the aroma and it all blends well. Nothing overpowers the other flavors. The mouthfeel is a little light, but also creamy. Oily slightly bitter and slightly sour aftertaste. 19641948 (491), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

Added to my RB list to check "Georgia" as a beer state consumed. A great brew that I look forward to each year. Seems the first year was just kick-ass and subsequent have been less than so. Smooth oily feel and fanatstic flavor. Coffee is easily seen and a joy to drink.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Thanks to Juancho. Pours into an espresso like dark brown. Coffee is the most predominant flavor, so it combines great with chocolate. Actually, we had it with a chocolate with chile. bdigital (586), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 29, 2007 Poured a very dark brown/black color with a gargantuan tan head that looked like a block of cement. After waiting what seemed like an hour for the head to dissipate, the aroma was pleasant. Notes of sweetened espresso, chocolate and a fruitiness that I couldn’t quite pinpoint. At times I was positive that it was an oatmeal raisin cookie wafting out, but other times wasn’t sure. Oh well. Medium bodied mouth feel, with the taste following the exact notes of the aroma. Again, there’s something there I just cannot seem to figure out, but what the hell it’s good. realale420 (399), west covina, California, USA

The aroma was heavy roast, coffee, chocolate and oats. Fisrt taste was bitter from the hops and coffee. It had a big body full of roast, oat, alcohol, coffee, hops and chocolate. A good beer just needed more carbonation.
