[Bottled. Thanks Kramer] Almost black colour. Low head. Glue dominates the aroma, but there are notes of menthol and berries. Also a grainy touh adds to the aroma profile. Mouthfeel is thick, bit roasty and fiery. Coffee backbone, but good coffee (not the thermos kind that is found so often in beers), also a touch of chocolate. Oat might soften this beer mouthfeel-wise, it mellows when warmed up somehow. Light bittering hops.

Bottle thanks to unclemattie! Pours a dark black with a nice tan head on top. Aroma is full of coffee, chocolate, oat, roasted malts, and hints of fruit. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, and roasted malts. I wish the flavor lasted longer though. A nice coffee imperial stout.

This is officially my favorite winter seasonal yet. Pours thick, midnight black, with a thin dark brown head that dissipates quickly, but stays on as a ring of lace throughout. Lacing, by the way, is amazing...not as impressive as the Big Hoppy Monster, but nice. Smells of strong black coffee, some very dark chocolate, and roasted oats. All of this, plus slight dark fruits (raspberries maybe), bourbon, and oak comes through in the flavor. A little more carbonation than I was expecting. Finish is nice and dry with a slight back-of-the-throat alcohol burn. HIGHLY recommended.

(Bottle, thanks Rick) Pours dark brown. Coffee, creamy, almost milky aroma with alcohol and some milk chocolate. Rasbberries. Salty and medium roasted. Coffee, salty flavour with some oatmeal and rum raisiny hints. Notes of not to dark chocolate. Medium body. Some alcoholy aftertaste that don´t linger.

I loved this beer! I’m obviously a fan from living here in Atlanta but this is truly a great one. It’s a full bodied imperial stout bomber with plenty of dark malts, oatmeal and quality coffee bean it lays down a creamy thick reminder of what this beer’s boundaries can be.

Pours an opaque black with the thinnest possible approximation of a tan head that quickly fades. The aroma, though, is powerful: strong, sweet roasted malt, coffee; flavor os semi-sweet chocolate, sugared espresso, husky malt. Definite alcohol undertones, but not overwhelming. Thin on the palate. Overall, a pleasant, distinctive brew.

Bottled. Black as pitch with almost no head. Very soft mouthfeel. Heavy notes of coffee, roasted malts and chocolate. Mild but at the same time very round and full.
