12oz bottle in a snifter. Pours black with a lacy, tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, a lot of coffee, some chocolate and dough, plus a little bitterness. Flavor the same with a good amount of coffee. Thicker texture. A good imperial stout.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. This beer really surprised me and is certainly one of the better coffee stouts I’ve had! Very dark pour, slight dark tan head. Big coffee and chocolate in the nose. Silky smooth mouthfeel - not too thick, not too carbonated. Taste is just slightly sweet, roasted maltiness gives way to coffee without any coffee bitterness. Slight alcohol and coffee on the finish. Superb.

Fun beer. Aroma is toasted a coffee filled. Appearance is thick and dark with a small head ringing the edges. Taste is sweet and toasty. Palate is thick, but dry, making this filling yet drinkable.

12oz bottle. Wow. That is a coffee bomb. Add some creamer to this bad boy and you have a totally kick ass breakfast beer. Coffee dominates every aspect to this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle courtesy of Biggsbowler. Pours near pitch black with a super tiny tan head that disappears quickly. HUGE aromas of coffee with lingering molasses, licorice and roast in the background. Flavors are just as huge in the coffee department, mingled with licorice, roast and a touch of tar. Palate is perfectly rich and thick with a nice creaminess to it. Overall, this is probably the second best Coffee Stout I have tried; it is an awesome drinking experience.

Black with a big beige head. Some lacing. Aroma of coffee, oatmeal, chocolate, and wood? Taste is roasty and full of coffee and chocolate, with again, that wood-like flavor though this is no barrel aged version. Medium-full bodied. Good stuff.

Vintage 2012.

Holy Moly coffee stout!! One of the more coffee-forward stouts I've had. Very nice roasty malt base, with oatmeal giving it just a twinge of sweetness. But the story here is java. Early, often, and a lot. Fresh too. Infuses every aspect of this brew. If you like coffee stouts, this is a Good One. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Damn good stout. Like breakfast stout but with a touch more coffee and less sweet chocolate.

Poured from a bottle. Dark brown with minimal dark tan head and lacing. Not surprisingly, coffee dominates the aroma as well as the taste, but the blending of beer and coffe in WNB is what makes it standout. A touch of sweetness (a little dark fruit shining through) offset with a nice bit of bitterness. Overall, smooth drinking "brew".
