15/VIII/15 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle @ We’re drinking all of Rich’s American beers tasting - BB: n/a, 2013 vintage (2015-1069) Thanks to omgrich for sharing the bottle!

Clear very dark brown to black beer, creamy irregular beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, roasted. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, very roasted, coffee, bit sugary. Aftertaste: little bitter, nice roast, sourish touch, caramel, sweet, lots of coffee. Too much for me...

At Rich’s Massive Cellar Emptying Tasting. 1 Wake & Bake 9.4% side by with 2 Wake & Bake Cinnamon 9.4%. 1 - Deep black reddish brown with a coffee beans and oatmeal aroma. Fairly light bodied with a bit of heat. It’s a nice straight up coffee beer. 3.7 2 - am preferring the nose on this, subtle cinnamon entwines nicely with the coffee. Light bodied, great coffee flavor and cinnamon. Really really nice. 4

This imp stout poured a deep black colour with a big, tan head. Scents include lots of coffee, dark chocolate and paint thinner? First swig was quite nice with lots of flavour. Coffee, cocoa and roasted Malta are most prominent. Finish is roasty as hell with coffee lingering.

Poured a dark brown, clear, minimal tan buddbly head. Aroma was roasted coffee and malts, oatmeal, and chocolate. Flavor had all of that with coffee being prominent and some vanilla and a nutty presence. Full body and a nice creamy texture. No alcohol noted, but a slight bitter coffee bite to finish. Superb!

bottle @Dangerous Bottleshares 7.0 thanks to Baron! Pours a pitch black with a tiny, short lasting, brown head. Aroma has dark chocolate, coffee, roasty malts, some oatmeal and vanilla. Taste is more bitter and roasty with both the coffee and the roasty malts, green bell pepper, sweet caramel malts. Full body and medium carbonation.
