ogivlado (2550), Zagreb, Croatia Jul 18, 2007 Bottled(500ml). –Golden coloured, small white head, dusty vegetable nose. Slight malty and vegetables aroma with notes of hay. Harsh and watery finish. With Saku Sarvik the worst Baltic beer that I’ve tried.
MiP (6723), Flensburg, Germany Sep 10, 2008 Bottle, 4.5%. Dusty, slightly buttery aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite watery. Has a little bitterness, otherwise a lot like carbonated water. faroeviking (4711), The Autonomous Beer Republic,, Faroe Islands Feb 2, 2008 Bottle @ Alus Arsenals in Riga. Clear golden with a meadium short lasting white head. The aroma is a bit sweet with malt and grains. Soft malty and grainy flavour. FatPhil (2574), Espoo, Finland Jan 16, 2008 500ml bottle.<br />
Looks like a pale lager, but the head’s persistent. Finnish style slightly perfumy light lager aroma, with hints of pale malt and honey. Fizzy in the mouth. Taste is a watered down version of the aroma. There’s something haylike in there, and that bitter tinge does stay for a reasonable length, but not very tasty, finish. Fairly free from nasty though. estpiwo (286), Estonia Aug 29, 2007 One of my favorite Latvian beers. Golden beer, little bit sweet beginning, but hoppy aftertaste.
