500ml split with various Jenners. Ruby with a thinning cream collar. Some sesame on the nose like the Munich lager I just saw off; black cherry, low roast, Westmalle Dubbel. Taste has suggestions of beef Monster Munch, molasses, digestives in the finish with milk chocolate. Trace of roast. Actually not bad.

50cl bottle from Tesco. Copper with a fast fading billowing cream head; simple malty aroma; soft with a sweet treacle toffee flavour with a touch of red freuit; and then some dry earthiness to finish. The body is rather thin, but otherwise nothing to complain about here - it’s a simple, straightforward, dark bitter.

Średnie piwo, a raczej przeciętne.
