Clear bottle from Tesco. Clear golden beer with thickish white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma. Bit deader in the mouth. Dullish malts, some citrus on finish. not much if any bitterness. Bit thin in the flavour.

Leighton (10674) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 10, 2012
Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours perfectly clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Mellow biscuity malt nose, some sweet hay. Medium sweet flavor with doughy malts, white bread, very faint floral notes, biscuits. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, all white bread, dough, hay. It is a very basic, sweet golden ale. Easy drinking, pleasant.

imdownthepub (10123) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2013
Bottled 500ml from Tesco, Uttoxeter, Staffs. Gold with very short lived head. There is a fusty, slightly mouldy note on opening which leads into the flavour, thin grainy beer with a vanilla note and a sweet jammy hint, otherwise not much at all. Disappointing.

27/06/12. Yellow gold with a transient head. Rabbit tray aroma- trust me, I’ve just been out there, faintly drizzled with lime. Some reasonable herbal hop, hay and lemon at first softening into honeyed cornflake, biscuit, oatmeal. No off notes. Not many notes at all come to think of it, although that late creaminess is really quite pleasant. More a lager than golden ale to me (or a golden ale with the hops taken out), but better than the typical macro shite lining the supermarket shelves I suppose.

500ml clear glass bottle from Tesco. £1. Cheap, but not value for money. Mouldy hay aroma. Tastes of dough, butter, dirty washing up water. Light bodied - quite limp in fact. Fairly unpleasant all round. Not undrinkable, just not very pleasant, and not at all rewarding. Not something you’d be in a hurry to repeat, but you can drink it without grimacing.
