And hint of unflushed toilet. Very nasty. And I’m not joking. Taste is thin and bitter. Nothing more to say really. Horrible.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 SilkTork (4898) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - JAN 23, 2013
500ml clear glass bottle from Tesco. £1. Cheap, but not value for money. Mouldy hay aroma. Tastes of dough, butter, dirty washing up water. Light bodied - quite limp in fact. Fairly unpleasant all round. Not undrinkable, just not very pleasant, and not at all rewarding. Not something you’d be in a hurry to repeat, but you can drink it without grimacing.

It is a very basic, sweet golden ale. Easy drinking, pleasant.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 SarkyNorthener (609) - Walsall (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2012
Bottle from Tesco. Pale straw colour and a little head. Slight aroma of sweet malts. Taste is a little of hops but minor. Not unpleasent but dull. The palate is bad, over carbonated. Reminds me of Pilsner without the quality.
