Think the Tesco label knocks a few points off for some people. Not fantastic but good value for money. An OK beer

Bottle from Tesco. Clear gold amber beer. Aroma a bit like Old Empire from the same brewery. Some eggy yeast. Flavour has some toffee. Some white pepper hop on the finish. Overall fine a bit over carbonated in the mouth.

Bottled, 500ml from Tesco, Uttoxeter, Staffs. Gold with white head. Quite a bitter start to the beer, there is a leafy, dry character to it, then a sharp slightly metallic note. A touch thin on the palate, itís ok though.

Much better than expected! Pours golden brown withal thin white head, aroma is floral and a little biscuity. Has a good hop bite, but classic British rather than US, as you might expect. Not bad.

golden colour . Reasonably retentive head with good lacing. There is a delicate grapefruit and toast in the aroma, The mouth feel is a tiny bit on the watery side. There are gentle soft malt flavours and a gentle bitterness which leaves a bitter marmalde and pepper aftertaste. this is an easy drinking refreshing beer.. Itís a nice beer at a very nice price. Itís delicately hopped using Cascade,Golding and Fuggles. The cascade is noticeble in the aftertaste .

50cl bottle. Clear and golden with small white head. Nose : bread malts, grains, delicate citrus notes. Zest and delicate pepper. Sip : oily and delicately carbonated. Just a slightly thicker then water. The beer is quite narrow flavoured although refreshing. Itís grains and citrusy hops. The bitterness is delicate and peppery, herbal. The aftertaste is delicate bitter zest. Simple.
