Bottle at home in London. Pours crystal clear gold, lightly effervescent with a fairly strong, white froth head. Nose is rife with that rich aroma of pasteurisation, biscuity bread, slight vegetal notes. Light sweet flavor with some leafy bitterness, dry bread, biscuits, mellow bitterness, touches of wood. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty crisp and clean to finish with more dry, leafy bitterness, some lightly toasted, biscuity malts. It’s a little bit watery. There are hints of citrus in the background. Not at all offensive.

a bit plain, could have been more bitter to be better. But still it’s tasteful and aroma was strong enough to smell it when I poured! I’ve got preference to IPA, but when I tried another cheap one-Green king IPA- was terrible. I’d recommend this to enjoy more with less money.

Bottle from Tesco. Poured a clear, dark golden colour, with a thin white head. Aroma of floral hops, dominant malt and toffee. Grain in the flavour, with some light grass and peal. Finish was earth, straw and raisins.

Bottle given to me by me old pal Vinny during an Autumnal drinking session in my back bar. Gold pour with a white head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Caramel malt flavours with a splash of bitter fruit. Light bitter finish. Competent session ale.

From the devilish Tesco empire, not this was easy enough drinking. Head retention was a bit better than I thought, and good for the price. £1.50

Mit McTapps geteit. Fein und simpel ohne große Punkte. Recht süffig, etwas malzig, mild und etwas wässrig. Anleihen von Nüssen und etwas Hopfen. Ganz ok.

Bottle from Tesco in Eastbourne. Pours out in a clear amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of barley and grains. Taste of barley, mild hops, straw. light malt, nuts and bitter hops. Medium bitter finish. Refreshing, yet nothing special.
