2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
8/24/13. 16oz nitro can thanks to Homer321! Pours from the can a creamy nitro milkshake color, settles eventually to a clear amber with a 2-finger fluffy khaki nitro head that sticks, laces well. Light aroma, creamy, bready, caramel, biscuits, a touch of fruitiness and rubbing alcohol. Light bready flavor, crackers, a touch of metal, floral aspects, caramel. Not bad. Low boost.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Serving: 500 ml. can from State Line Liquors. It pours a clear gold with a creamy off white head thanks to the widget. I’m assuming the nitrogen dulled down the nose because I couldn’t get much anything. Thin on the tongue with a little caramel, wet cardboard, slight metallic note, and a weird bitterness. Smooth, light body with a thankfully short finish. It’s easy drinking, but with this kind of flavor why would you want to?

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tetley’s Smoothflow has a roiling, off-white head that builds to a medium, cream-like consistency, a deep amber appearance, with streaming bubbles and fine particles suspended throughout, and intricate, spider web lacing left behind. The aroma is rich and full: sweetness, toasted bread crust, brewers’ yeast, nut, caramel, toffee, and subtle candied fruit. Taste is of sweetness, nut shell, grain husk, tea dregs, subdued hop bitterness, white bread, and a shade of yeast. Mouthfeel is medium and somewhat slick, and Tetley’s Smoothflow finishes semi-dry, sweet, mellow, and ultra-drinkable. Overall, this is a most excellent English ale!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Translucent copper with a dense beige head.
Aroma: bread dough and metallic minerality.
Taste: bready pale malt, woodsy late-hops, and sour minerality.
I would like more maltiness and less minerality.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a tight finger of head on a fairly clear copper colored body. Looks great with the bubbles coming up right after the pour.
The aroma is a caramel barnyard smell.
The taste is okay. Smooth with mild bitterness and a touch of caramel.
The texture is soft with low carbonation.
Between the low ABV, smooth taste and low carbonation this beer is too easy to drink.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nitro can. Very mild, easy drinking ale. Not bitter or hoppy, a little sweetness in the finish. Somewhat bland and not memorable.

Bernstein mit feiner Crema aus der Nitro-Dose. Cremiger Körper, sehr sanft. Geschmacklich dünn nach Fudge-Weichkaramellen mit wenig Hopfen. Süffig allemal.
