Reddish color with a big off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and malty. The flavor follows the aroma with some bitterness. Light in body, quite watery and medium to high carbonation with a slightly bitter finish.

440ml non-widget can as Tetley’s Smooth Flow bought at Wellcome Superstore in Sheung Shui.

Cloudy hazy amber honey colour; Two finger head with long-lasting creamy off-white foam; Moderate sticky lacing with zero carbonation; Light aroma of lager malt, with honey, molasses, bread, yeast and faint grass; Close to zero sweet taste of very light malt, with water, soggy bread, light lemon, light bitter hops and faint grass; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is near water-like with faint hint of malt, soggy faint bread and minimal hops. Nevermind characters because it has none... Hoppiness is faint grassy nose, low and flat lemony grassy taste. Bitterness is muted and uninspiring. Very low astringent non-finish; Wet after taste, Very easy to mouth.

Comments: This is just another pub-bound beer-water disgusted as Bitter, and it manages to be worse than John Smith’s Extra Smooth - sugary nose, beer-water taste, minimal malt / hops / yeast… Blah! Perfect for college shotgun or boat-racing, and that’s’ how useless it is.

Pours a milky brown color with an ominous flowing, moving body once poured out of the can. Once the beer stops moving it settles into a brillant amber color. Slight hop aroma with more of a clean water smell. Taste is smple and easy drinking. Unfortunately too simple. With all the pre movement of this beer, I expected lots of flavor, but it fell short.

Bready smell, not very intense. Taste like roasted malts, grains, lightly hopped, buttery. Pours with a beautiful head comparable to latte microfoam, thick and milky, really pretty.

Aromas of bread, pound cake, a little metallic, notes of Irish whiskey. Beautiful, clear amber with a fully lasting smooth, thick, white head. Flavors of copper, grain, some caramel, finishes a little bitter. Light-medium bodied, very smooth, very easy to drink. Meh.

A low alcohol smooth English Ale. Pours clear amber, big head, like Guiness. Low smell, little bread, grain. Taste is mellow, very basic ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amazing pour from the nitro, like the cream from a root beer float, settling to a hazy amber with giant, creamy nitro head. Mild aroma of pale malts and grain. Taste is light bready with a little crackers and caramel. Not a great flavor, but nitro head and creamy palate keeps it interesting.

Non Widget Can. Creamy Buttery Yellow Color, Small Lasting Creamy Foam Head, Decent Lacing. Lightly Toasted Aroma. Toasted Malt, Light Hop Bitter. Mellow. Low ABV partly Explains how British Are able to drink so much. Easy and Decent To Drink Although It is Not Sophisticated Nor Memorable. OK.

Aroma: Slightly bready, caramel malt presence; light overall with maybe a touch of pear and basil. Appearance: Mostly clear copper body with a firm white head. Flavor: Ultra light impressions of caramel and toast up front; a bit of earthy, herbal character in the finish. Palate: Light (as air) body, thin texture, flat carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Quite hushed and non-assuming. I kinda like it; sweet in the way the timid kid at the back of class is once you give him a chance.
