4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Serving: from can--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles.
Aroma: moderately floral-hoppy.
Appearance: large, creamy, off-white, initial head with one long sheet of lacing that followed the entire side of the glass. Fully lasting longevity. Hazy, flat, orange body.
Taste: moderately sweet initial flavor and lightly acidic finish with average duration.
Palate: light-to-medium body, creamy texture and no carbonation.
Overall: excellent. Will always be one of my favorites.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not the worst out of a can. Golden with a semi-smooth texture. It is a texture ale, no big flavours but easy to drink. No head and a low bitterness.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
44cl can (Smoothflow) from HiperDino, Puerto De La Cruz. Copper coloured with a creamy, off-white nitro head. Malty aroma with caramel and hints of fruits and hops. Quite sweet, but with a pleasant bitterness in the finish. Lightly watery, but easy to drink and quite nice. (2012-12-31)

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
440ml can. Date on bottom is 15/9/12. Good creamy milky white head. Cool nitro body ascends to reveal a mostly clear red / orange color. Good mildly hoppy English malty flavor. Light bitterness. Great full lace. Light citrus, toasted malts. Very light but creamy smooth body. Very easy to drink for sure. Light smooth creamy carbonation. Not much in the nose, but a tasty drinkable enjoyable ale, great to enjoy with my leftover lasagna.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Original. 440ml can. Pours large white head. Aroma slightly sour with some nutmeg hints. Colour copper. Taste is a tad salty, medium sweet with strong bitterness. Some nut and sour fruit in there too. Body thin and watery. Finish long and metallic. Not a pleasing drink.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
440 ml tallboy can, thanks to my cousin Stacie and her husband Josh. The pour on this is as dramatic as any widget can, meaning awesome results. Pours slightly hazy copper with a geyser of carbonation forming in the glass, making it look like volcano smoke; has a medium cream-colored creamy looking head that refuses to go away. Aroma is fruity, grassy (like a freshly mown prairie field in the summertime at dusk is what springs to mind, however pretentious that might sound). Taste is lightly sweet and a lot grassy. Carbonation is virtually non-existant, which I expected. These lowly-carbonated beers are still pretty weird for me.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can poured into a shaker. Nothing really special here. Somewhat flat and uninspiring. Cereal grains and some very light hops.

1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20
I feel a bit bad about this because it was given to me over lunch by a friend (sorry Simon!) but this really was one of the worst beers I’ve ever tasted. Aroma? Nope. Palate? Hard to tell through the soap. Appearance? Mid-brown covered in shaving foam. Taste? Nope, well actually yes, a thin metalic flavour like when you leave your fork too long in your mouth. Overall? Yeuk!
Unfortunately this muck probably gets exported all over the world and people from Mombasa to Kalgoorlie think of it as a typical English ale. It isn’t, it’s garbage! Wouldn’t even give it to the dog...

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Nitro can. Pours a medium copper colored brew with a thick off white head. The nose has tea and apples. There was also some bread. This tasted of tea and toffee. There was a dry dusty finish. Actually this was decent but a little bland.
