COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nitro Keg Ale and Canned Widget Ale. An export strength beer brewed specifically for countries outside the UK. It has the same smooth and creamy characteristics as Tetley’s Smoothflow and incorporates a full drinking flavour. It is well balanced with a complex range of malty and hoppy notes, enhanced by a fruity aroma. Like Tetley’s Smoothflow, it is served at 8°C to give extra refreshment.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste creamy, not much to distinguish flavor. I thought this was so so. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Creamy, I think it was served on nitro taps and very white head. Clear copper. muted aroma, sweet malts and caramel with a slight roast and floral hoppy note. Medium bodied, at best, with a creamy texture, fast finish, watery mid palate and some roast malts and yeasty and hint of bitterness. session style beer but there are better. boring.

A great looking beer. Lovely golden colour with a rich, creamy head. Slight caramel and roasted malt aromas. Beautiful smooth mouthfeel with minimal carbonation and a light finish. Caramel flavours with a slight bitterness. The flavours are subtle, simplistic and perhaps a little hollow but I like this beer and think it deserves a higher rating than its average. Perhaps it just tastes better because I'm drinking it on the lounge watching the lords test -

I really like this smooth and soft palated bitter. Somewhat fruity, which in fact might just be elder og hops shining through. Veri refined bitter malt used here I’m sure, and the pour is just beautiful and hazy dark orange/light cobber. One of my favorite true english

Widget can. Pours golden with a big, pillowy head with cascading bubbles down the side. Aroma is pretty faint: bready, slightly malty, with a bit of grassy hops. Foam is rather bitter and metallic. Flavor is bready malts, a bit of sweetness, enough bitterness to balance the sweetness. Dry finish. Creamy palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy gold nitro pour, an inch of head.. Malty, bready aroma. Taste is the same with light hopping coming through. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. I hope you found this review as pedestrian as i found this beer. On tap at kings arms.

Mild hoppy scent and the flavour is also a bit hoppy but sweet too. There’s nothing wrong with it but it’s very middle of the road.

On tap at Global Brew. Thin white nitro head and pale hazy golden color A muted aroma of grass and yeast. Taste is sweet pale malt along with a slight smokiness and a sour hoppiness. Not a whole lot going on here, but pretty good nonetheless.

A golden amber with a frothy-creamy white head. The widget helps this beer come smooth and milky, the best part is watching the beer settle. The flavor is buttery and smooth with a malts on the front. The finish is .... well absent. But overall a decent cheap beer.

14.9 oz. widget can from The Beer Store for $2.25. Cascading carbonation leaves a dense, thick 1 inch foamy head. Color is clear amber. Nose is a light malt. You cannot find anything offensive about the palate on this beer. Simply because it tastes like a creamy water with some malt splashed in. When the brew hit room temperature I got a very faint English hop. Light nutty notes shows up too. Texture is creamy. Well… if nothing else, it sure is easy to drink!
