Nitro Keg Ale and Canned Widget Ale. An export strength beer brewed specifically for countries outside the UK. It has the same smooth and creamy characteristics as Tetley’s Smoothflow and incorporates a full drinking flavour. It is well balanced with a complex range of malty and hoppy notes, enhanced by a fruity aroma. Like Tetley’s Smoothflow, it is served at 8°C to give extra refreshment.

Beautiful pour of course, as with most of this style. Pine like hop bitterness, but overall quite watery.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2003 I about tossed it after the first swig, but after that it really settled down into a very good brew. I found that the carbonation was lacking, but the flavor was still there. The widget flow thing is still cool to look at when you pour it.

Creamy longlasting head (due to widget I’m sure)leaves a thick lacing on the glass. Dark amber full bodidied beer. Very malty but balanced with hop flavor with a real warming finish. Not overly hoppy but kind of sweet like a wine. A really good looking beer.

Not bad. Nice aroma, and not a bad color. A bit on the non- bitter side.

This has a nice amber color, very nice head (from the can). It has a very mild flavor, but for some reason, I really liked this. It’s a beer for drinking many of without having an incredible taste.

I would say this beer looks awesome has a spectacular head, but this is a given as it was served from a draught can, almost every beer from a draught can looks great, Tetleys not withstanding. Very nice amber hue, nearly perfect head. Light creamy to buttery smell. Very light mouthfeel, a bit watery and very bland.

Beautiful pour and deep amber color are misleading, as this beer is very bland with a weak bitter finish. Has a thick, beige creamy head and buttery aroma, however the taste is almost non-existent. Another victim of the widget? Certainly seems like it.

I guess I got a good batch here! Don’t really know what to say, except that this beer completely and utterly rocks out. Good head, very aromatic, goes down smooth, not too powerful or overbearing. Tastes a little weak at first, but comes on strong at the end. Definitely worth a try.
