[Tap] Pours a slightly hazy light brown color with a nitro head. Muted aroma of hops and earth. The taste is of biscuits, bread, light hopping and caramel. Not as hoppy as I expected. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel with decent body. Easy to drink, but could have used more flavor too.

I love mild English ales and Tetley’s is one of the best. It pours a beautiful amber body with a soft, creamy, off-white head. Smells of toffee, caramel and a hit of floral notes. Initial taste is sweet with a finish that is semi-salty. The palate is perfect for the type; very smooth and creamy.

On tap in Thailand. Not bad, but definitely not great. I would describe it as smooth and flavorless. Looks really nice one of the best in this area. It looks like it could be good in appearance, but in theory, democracy works.

widget can - Pours copper with a moderately sized, fluffy white head. It has a light aroma of malt and English hops. Not much. The flavor is of bland malt with a bit of caramel and some mild bitterness. It’s creamy and light bodied. It’s a really underwhelming bitter.

Nitro at Capone’s: Aroma of malt and grains. Poured amber in color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Really a beautiful head. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet. Tastes of malt and grains. Medium body. Smooth, creamy, texture. Soft carbonation. Malt finish. Almost no taste or aroma.

Tetley’s
English Ale
Widget can, pours copper with a thick creamy lasting head (no doubt due to the widget). Tons of lacing on the glass. Nice looking beer. Mild aroma of beer and metal, with a noticeable cold glass smell, Maybe some malt, but maybe wishful thinking. Flavor is the smoothest beer I’ve ever had. Similar to beer flavored water, but seriously the least offensive beer ever. Sort of like oxygen, in that you can’t ever notice it. Creamy as hell mouthfeel. I could drink a case of these without knowing it, especially with the low ABV.
