Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 3, 2003 An amber beer with a smooth fine head. It has next to no aroma. The flavor is soft, sligthtly sweet and fruity with an OK bitterness. A little light. A fine beer - but very standard. Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 19, 2000 Decent maltiness, but zero aroma and lifeless body, as is typical of widget beers. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Updated: May 23, 2008Name: Tetley’s English Ale

argo0 (6231), Washington DC, USA Dec 30, 2002 Looks like Tetley’s tea -- very cloudy dark-tea colored, with nice beige head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is grassy/earthy hoppy, and slightly malty. Tastewise, upfront is malty with some sweetness, and finishes with pleasant earthy bitterness. Creamy/smooth. Not a strong taste at any point, but nice nonetheless. fiulijn (5900), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy May 3, 2004 Nitro Keg Amber color; creamy head. Ordinary aroma; smooth taste, quite poor, just lightly malty-fruity. Unfortunately the final (strong bitterness) is paper-like and metallic.
