COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nitro Keg Ale and Canned Widget Ale. An export strength beer brewed specifically for countries outside the UK. It has the same smooth and creamy characteristics as Tetley’s Smoothflow and incorporates a full drinking flavour. It is well balanced with a complex range of malty and hoppy notes, enhanced by a fruity aroma. Like Tetley’s Smoothflow, it is served at 8°C to give extra refreshment.

Recognizing that this is what it is--an English pub bitter--it’s good. Of course, it’s going to be mellow, not hoppy enough, a mite too watery, and just slightly less oomphy than we’d wish. But the similar category of beer in the States is Bud, and so by that standard, it’s quite nice. By comparison, Boddington’s is TRULY weak and palid.

Very tipical english beer aroma with notes of grain and toffee it pours with a great head as it cascadrs into a clear copper color and a head about 1/2 inch. Mmouthfeel is velvety with a medium body, very smooth as the sweet malts mesh together with the bitterness from the hops. Overall a good typical english brew

Pours amber, massive frothy head. So smooth, a bit watery, it is a fantastic feeling beer to drink. Velvety. Taste of grains, yeast. Just a bit too watery for my taste

Big pillowy head rich brown body little sweet for my liking but slipsd down very easily. Best drunk: as a thirst quencher.

This one opened with a big rush of air and bubbles. It poured very foamy with loads of tiny little bubbles that slowly formed a thick, white and creamy head. Very cool looking! The body was a nice golden honey color with good clarity after it settled down. The aroma is light. Carmel malts and peach. The favor is buttery smooth and malty sweet up front. This fades to an odd watery and metallic middle that finishes with some herbal tea like hops. The palate is velvety smooth and medium bodied. Overall this is a grate looking beer but not much flavor.
