COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nitro Keg Ale and Canned Widget Ale. An export strength beer brewed specifically for countries outside the UK. It has the same smooth and creamy characteristics as Tetley’s Smoothflow and incorporates a full drinking flavour. It is well balanced with a complex range of malty and hoppy notes, enhanced by a fruity aroma. Like Tetley’s Smoothflow, it is served at 8°C to give extra refreshment.

Seems much more like a mild than a bitter to my taste buds. Had on tap, poured with a nitro tap giving the beer that typical nitro head and soft mouthfeel. Balanced, malty, and quaffable but doesn’t rock the boat.

Canette. [notes 2005]

Draught. Mostly lasting, dense, off white head on top of golden liquid. Aromas are herbal, earthy, somewhat malty and just a hint of fruit but fairly light throughout. Very creamy texture, mild body. The finish is short, but toasted, malty and rounded. Overripe fruit, wood, earthy flavour. Texture is just a tad too watery for my taste but not too bad.

Light amber color with a creamy off white head. Toffee and fruity aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Creamy texture. Fruity, malty, toffee and herbal flavor.

Pale honey colour, with a white head that lasts. Sweet, malty, refreshing taste. Not too bad, not what I expected.

Can. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a moderate pillowy tan head on there. Nose is dry and earthy, with some grains, but not much interesting to me. Taste is light and smooth, very slightly bitter, and an earthiness that makes think of wallowing in dirt.

Very tipical english beer aroma with notes of grain and toffee it pours with a great head as it cascadrs into a clear copper color and a head about 1/2 inch. Mmouthfeel is velvety with a medium body, very smooth as the sweet malts mesh together with the bitterness from the hops. Overall a good typical english brew

Pours amber, massive frothy head. So smooth, a bit watery, it is a fantastic feeling beer to drink. Velvety. Taste of grains, yeast. Just a bit too watery for my taste

Big pillowy head rich brown body little sweet for my liking but slipsd down very easily. Best drunk: as a thirst quencher.
