pivnizub (3768), Porúří, Germany Apr 5, 2008 Bottle (Diky,ŠTĚPANE !): Golden, small and stable white head, lazy carbonation; mainly dry grassy-hoppy nose, supported by a smaller amount of pale malt; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; soft, and slightly lingering sweet-hoppy finish. Honest southern-german Pils.........
kappldav123 (948), Markkleeberg, Germany Apr 17, 2008 The bottle looks not so good, the beer in the glass better. Aroma is dry and hoppy. Tastes not really dry, a little bit spicy, finish like wheat, still good use of hops. Good and interesting pils.
Thanks to quack-duck for the bottle! MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Mar 2, 2008 (33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized blond foamy head. Sweet, slightly cara-malty nose with slightly floral and peppery spicy hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Solid malty base with subtle fruity notes; moderately dry and slightly bitter finish with rounded malty and flowery hoppy accents and a whiff of fruitiness (pine apples) in the aftertaste. Uncommon but pleasant Pilsener (29.02.08). Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany Jan 15, 2008 bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear golden yellow, perfumy hoppy and malty nose. Perfumy hoppy and slightly sweet start, flowery flavours of Tettnang hops dominate, the finish is rather short.
