COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A luscious, malt-oriented brown ale, with a caramel, dark fruit complexity of malt flavor. We took a southern English Brown recipe and made it our own. Drinkers will enjoy a sweet finish with a smooth, malty aftertaste.

On tap at Bluebonnet. Brown pour with an off-white head. Aroma is toffee, chocolate, and toast. Taste is lots of roasted malt, a little chocolate, and nuts.

Really nice brown with big malty aroma and taste. Light feeling without at all seeming watery.

Sample at GABF 2014. Comes brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and dark fruit. Taste is the same. Somewhat on the sweet side. Decent.

Malt forward aroma of whole wheat toast and chocolate with dried apricots and raisins in support. Appearance is dark brown and cloudy with a slight tan head, no persistence. Tastes of chocolate and dark bread or toast with a touch of pear and yellow raisin. Tangy with a slightly bitter finish. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Balance is toward sweetness in the lengthy finish. A full flavored, malty interpretation of a brown ale.

On tap at the Bluebonnet Brew-off. Poured a translucent dark brown color with a thin tan head. Faint taste of caramel malts, sweet malts, and subtle fruits. Medium carbonation, medium body. Overall not as robust and flavorful as other browns
