Bottle. Light unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate yeasty, brown sugar, light light metallic. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to short duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (040408)

I shared this with Jacob Lövenlund - so my bottle also said Texels Fuurtoren Amber. It is a hazy amber beer with a white head. The aroma is of grass and hops. The flavor is malty with notes of gras and hops on a sweet background. The end is very dry hoppy with a light bitterness.

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy golden with a tall and firm off-white head. Fresh and fruity nose. Medium body, sweet malt and fruit. No or subdued bitterness. 130809

30 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy and light fruity, light spiced too. Bitter, spiced and light malty flavoured. Bitter and clean dry finish.

Copper coloured, softly malty, grassy and salty.

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruity hops, wood and mild herbal notes. Flavour is caramel, mild metal, some hops and yeast. Not too exciting, but indeed balanced.

Bottle at Papsø. Hazy golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of spices and yeast. Sweet and fruity flavour of spices, yeast and hops. Hoppy finish.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2009 Hazy yellow with a medium off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with hints of hops. Flavour was sweet with malty and caramel notes. Hops towards the end gave it a bitter finish.
