On tap (keg) at the Rake on 15 January 2011. Hazy gold in colour. Not very donker. Wheaty, with some estery fruit and a dollop of bubblegum. Palatable but nothing really leaps out as above the norem.

Tap @ Nederlands Biercafe‘t Arendsnest. Pours hazy golden with a huge off white head leaving lots of lace. Aroma is bananas, lightly smoked, hay, fruity and bread. Flavor is fruity, banans, perry, and hoppy. Thin body. Watery fruity palate. Finishes short with a bitter hoppy aftertaste.

Bottle: Big vast white foamy head on top of a hazy dark yellow to orange beer. Smell wheat, fruit, orange, lemon, some hints of spices and malts. Taste is a well balanced mix of wheat, fruit, malts, spices and yeast.

UPDATED: AUG 1, 2011 Brown, cloudy beer with hefeweizen aroma of caramel, banana and wheat. Sticky head. A quite sweet beer packing a fine alcoholic fruitiness. Unfortunately there’s also a lot of soap and metallic notes. This brewery can do much better. (Bottle 33 cl bought at Texel)

KyotoLefty (7453) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 7, 2010
Draught at Arendsnest. Orange-brown color with a tall, fine head. Spicy, caramel, wheat malt aroma, slightly tangy. Very interesting wheat character--neither German nor Belgian really. Some banana, tangy, cakey, very sweet and spicy. Good and original.

imdownthepub (11294) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2010
Bottled, 330ml at Cafe Belgique, Utrecht. Hazed amber with white head. Lots of CO2 present giving a wet cardboard flavour to the beer, buttery, some lemon. Not good.

spkevin (397) - Doetinchem, NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2010
UPDATED: AUG 13, 2011 Bottle. Pours a hazy dark yellow/orange beer with a big white head. Head fades and turns into small foam. Some wheat in the aroma with hints of orange. Decent taste with faint hints of wheat, some earth and orange. Gets better when the beer warms up. Ok for drinking some bottles on an evening.
