3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly hazy amber in colour with a nice persistent but not excessively thick head. Smooth in texture and in taste for a darker weizen.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy amber with a stable, thick white head. Aroma is fruity with some malty elements in it. Some citrus, wheat, yeast, caramel, resin, cloves... Bit musty as well strange enough. Aroma is not that unpleasant, but it has its irritating notes. Taste is wheaty, roasty, citric, spicy and slightly sweet with a small bitter underneath it. Bit warming in its somewhat dryish (yet fruity) finish. Decent, flavorful in some way. Not bad. Could have had more roastiness. Texture is on the thinner side of the palate, medium bodied with quite a solid carbonation. Not a bad brew at all. Bit dull and unrefined, but still worth a try.

Amber collor beer with a small white head. Taste is yeast, sweet fruity and watery. Afhter taste is a little bitter that quickly disapears. Disapointing.

Arends Nest. Keg. Very hazy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Sweet dry malts, little dull caramel. Touch of spice. Whisper of orangey dried fruits. Airy dry finish. Passable.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
I was not too impressed by this beer. It clearly refers to the Dunkelweizen but it has not the powerful aroma it’s German ancestors has.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Smells of wood, cream and prunes, beautifully nut brown with slightly too narrow foam top. Tastes more strong than it is - raisins, sweet vegetable soup, caramel and some wood are associations I get. Rich and complex taste in the neighbourhood of bayers and dunkelweizens; fits well to the recipe. The wheat is more obvious further down the glass.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Color is Cola mixed with Fanta. Aroma: sweet. Honey, hints of apricots, younge cheese aroma from the yeast (big whiff). Taste is a little disappointing: sour, IPA-like (slight), wheaty. Bitter and dry aftertaste, much like Pilsner. Too bitter for this style (which makes the freshness from the hops clash in my opinion).
