Smooth malty slightly bitter roasted beginning. Very deep with dark dried fruit and caramel. Nice not too intense sweetness, brown sugar, malts, moderate bitterness. Nice and burned sugary ending, long aftertaste, sticky and rich. On the tongue remains a smooth and sweetish roasty sugary and not too sweet brown aroma. Fantastic!

A strong smell of malt, light sour and alcoholic. The small beige head disappears fast, the body is dark red. A strong alcoholic taste, malty, light bitter and weak metallic during the finish. The body is strong, creamy and light oily with a lively carbonation.

Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht. The beer is ruby red colored and has a large and stable cream colored head, with nice carbonation. The aroma is fruity with tones of bananas and appricots. After the fruitiness tones of caramel and roasted malts, which gives it a nice balance. The taste is full bodied and medium sweet, with notes of roasted malts and caramel. The body is cacao and hints of raspberries gives this strong beer some fresh notes. The finish is warming alcohol and some pleasant bitters with a long staying taste of laurel.

Bottle from RW80 through European Beer Swap. Cheers, Robert! Aroma: Sweet, molasses, dried fruit, malty, caramel. Appearance: Low, dense head. Cloudy, dark brown liquid. Taste: A lot of sweetness with alcohol, the sweetness is not tiring, dried fruit, caramel, toffee, bitterness is medium-low - herbal and spicy type. Palate: Medium-high carbonation - bit too much gas, body is full, finish is sweet.

Bottle from Bierkonig. Pours quite ruddy with a beige head. Aroma of warm malt. More or less medium body. Flavor is malty, with perhaps a bit of yeast, and some medium dark fruit. Pretty good flavor. Finishes just a little bit bitter.
