30cl bottle at home. Dark brown with an off-white head. Full body with medium carbonation. Caramel, dark fruits, citrus, some chocolate, alcohol and at some point tones of blue cheese. Very sweet with some bitter hints. A decent complex bock.

Pours a dark brown/amber with a think off-white head that disappears quickly. Aroma of dark fruits, malts, caramel, some chocolate. Very nice bock!

I found this to be a very nice bock beer. Tried it at the brewery in 2013 and I was amazed by its smooth mouthfeel. Very soft but a heavy flavor profile dominated by banana, caramel, and brown sugar.

Aroma: cherries, candy. Appearance: Murky brown with only a tiny bit of creme colored head. Taste is pancakes with apricot jam and ryebread. Aftertaste is more bitter that I expected, with a lot of alcohol. Something salty? Creamy texture with medium carbonation. I love the first sips, but the aftertaste... not so much.

Smaak is behoorlijk zoet.

10/11/8/12/12/12

March but still cold. My birthday today so a good time to open a big bottle and drink it alone. 750 ml bottle, with a crown cap that states the bottling date is 10/2010. ABV 10%. Poured into a snifter. Deep red amber to brown colour on the body, with two fingers of thick, tan head. Very good retention, almost no lacing on the glass. Heavy, appealoing aroma of dark fruits, alcohol, light caramel and a bit of vanilla. Taste follows the nose. Lots of dark fruits, caramel and the alcohol not so notable on the taste but mostly traceable from the warming feeling it gives. Aftertaste is moderate bitter. Medium thick on the body, average carbonation. Nice bock, strong and tasty.
