Bottle@Home. Malty and light herbal aroma. Golden, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, bitter, herbal, malty. Medium and dry body. Flavourful, going very much in the Westmalle direction.

33cl bottle at a random bar in Siracusa, Sicilia. Golden with a one finger white head and average retention. The aroma is rather grainy with pale malt and just a hint of Belgian yeast. The flavor has pale malt, grain, grassy hops, and a mild Belgian note. A little weak on the mouthfeel with medium body and average carbonation. Not very good for the style overall. A welcome break from crappy macro lagers though.

Gold color, good head. Smell a little better than average tripel. Nice taste, long bitter aftertaste as well. Palate really good, nice balance.

On tap at Arendsnest on 5 April 2011. Clear gold colour. A rather sweet Tripel with just touch of spice. Slightly raw malt feel with some vanilla and estery fruit notes. Drinkable enough but didn’t really grab me.

22-jan-2011. 50cl bottle at beer tasting. Cloudy golden beer with poor head. Pretty strong sweet aroma, this was the OK part of the beer. The flavour is way too bitter IMO, and also too drying (in the mouth). The aftertaste was pretty long, but after two seconds the bitterness hit me again full strength. Not really my cup of tea.

Golden, a bit murky, colour. Good head. Smells sweet and hops. Sour and mouldy first sip. Quite nice mouth feeling, fizzy. Aroma develops to more sweet after getting more used to the beer. Good, but not spot on.

hade en diskret doft med en aning lacknafta. Smaken var besk, gräsig, obalanserad och spritig.

on tap at in de wildeman...pours a mostly clear golden brown. with a fluffy white head... aroma is sweet with a light grassiness, some yeast, and a generally pervading sweetness...flavors are sweet and grainy with grass and a pale earthiness. a bit of spice on the backend.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy golden beer with no visible carbonation. Yet a good texture. Surprising amount of hops and bitterness for a dubble. Aroma of grass, dough, some citrus, spices. Not expecting a complex, dry beer like this from the Texel Triple, but very nice. (33 cl bottle bought at Texel)
