2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
bottled at Take One in Mestreech. Color very hazy dark yellow. Head is thin white and quickly diminishes. Fruity with some vanilla. Carbonation is a bit much IMO. LOTS OF YEAST

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cloudy pale yellow. Small white film. Tired wheat nose. Really dull, boring and rather bland. Fruitless nose with possible banana hints, but mostly focusing on crushed wheat of dubious quality. Graininess and sweetness all along. Poor.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Hazy yellow colour, small white creamy head. Wheaty, quite sour citric aroma. Flavour is spices, wheat, some malts and rather acidic citrus fruit. Not very exciting, but still refreshing.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(bottle, received from my sailing sister) Hazy, pale golden colour with a small creamy white layer. Dusty and quite dense aroma of light fruity notes (citrus) and spicy phenols. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium body with a moderate carbonation. Malty, slightly grainy and only light wheaty taste with a restrained fruit character and strong spicy phenols, leading into the finish. Rather unconvincing attempt to brew a Hefeweizen, as the back label states.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home. Hoppy, sour scent. Sweet taste with little range. Heavily carbonated. Taste drops off. Not really a Witbier.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from the Offie, Leicester. Slightly orangey Wit - some rose quality and a thick, sweet malt feeling inside the wheat wrapping. Lacks the citric punch that the best examples have. Hazy orange colour, small head, smells honeyish.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Mostly sourness and lemon in the aroma. The appearance is slightly hazy but otherwise dull - there is not the creamy haze I would like to see. The taste is lemony and quite thin. It seems more of a German taste than a Belgian one to me. Very disappointing.
