This beer is an attempt at cashing in on Thaksin’s Thai nationalistic fervor. Thai beer spelled in the Thai alphabet aimed at Khun Thai, whoopee! This is basically crap. Even the lousy Bier Sing in Thailand is better than this crap. The cash in on brainless nationalism is only trumped by Carabao’s adverts for its energy drinks. I would only drink if held in the Bangkok Hilton prison.

A light yellow beer with no head. The aroma is like dish wash water, while the flavor is sweet malty combined with a sourness and notes of corn.

Canned. Pale yellow coloured. Very unclean and disgusting aroma and flavour. Very thin. Like drinking mineral water with dirt.

Canned. Clear yellow coloured with a small off white head. Aroma of malts, corn and alcohol. Sweet flavour of malts, corn and hops.

(note: the picture given here is incorrect. This is not Singha) "Thai Beer" in a can, flown directly from Thailand, just for me. Hooray! Served extra-cold, as instructed. Bright yellow color, clear, with negligible head, soon departed. Aroma, sweet, almost corny, but not exactly...not bad. Taste is sweet as well, extra-malty, and inoffensive. Almost creamy. But increasingly cloying. Very light in body, with a lightly buttery finish. By and by, it tastes like drinking a boozed up Jolly Rancher. Before too long, the alcoholic content is creeping into the bloodstream, doing it’s business. When I’ve fallen to my depths of desperation, and you find me by chance in some Bangkok alley, this would be the beast in my brown-paper bag.

A bread taste and fizzy beer. Not much of a flavor, but a little rising aftertaste.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 (Bottle 63 cl) No surprise, this is a strong, golden lager. Quite hoppy but the alcohol is a bit too predominant for my liking. 161103

I thought I grabbed the lager, but ended up with the malt liquor. Oh well. Skunky nose ("Fill 012904"... so there’s no surprise there). Medium golden beer with a large white head. Grainy, alcoholic flavor with a touch of sour citrus.
