Can at home. Bronze pour, good creamy head, nice retention and lacing. Resin, citrus, light caramel. Moderately sweet, hints at some tropical notes, ends with a cool candied orange thing, assertive bitterness. Medium+ body, oily texture. Overall: Really impressive classic IPA (with an extra citrus twist).

On tap at The Mayor of Old Town. Medium orange appearance with a white head and thick lacing. Nice aroma of tropical hops and zesty citrus fruits. Similar flavor, fruity and resinous hops with light piney notes. Medium body. Another nice IPA from Melvin. 3.75

Toronado Seattle at Melvin event. Darker clear golden brown. String head. Clean, sharp, balanced light citrus. Ok bitter. Really solid but nothing impressive. Pretty delicious, a nice solid IPA for any brewery. Cool.

Super fresh 16oz tap. Golden color white sticky head that laces the glass. Aromas led by Mosaic hops, sweet citrus, oranges. Very smooth mouthfeel not much hop bitterness. Thoroughly enjoyed this IPA.

Yellow gold. Nose is garlic and onion hops. Taste is biscuity malts and garlic hops. This is a well crafted IPA, but not my thing.

Can - pours clear copper with a fluffy, soapy off white head. Big aroma of citrus, lemongrass, vanilla? and maybe some biscuit. Great flavor and balance. Flavors of citrus, tropical notes, shortbread and bitter zest.

12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a big meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass some.

The aroma is sweet bready malt, soft fruit and lots of piney resiny hops.

The flavor is sweet fruity caramel malt with lots of resiny dank piney hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a very nice IPA.

PhillyCraft (5072) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 6, 2016
On tap at hops and pie, pours hazy golden copper with medium white head that sticks around. Aromas and flavor are aggressive hops, cinnamon stick, grain, and other spicy florals. The cinnamon thing was weird...wondering if she was a bit old. Light to medium body with boozy end
