500ml bottle from Tesco Wines. Pours clear gold. Taste is pure apple juice, fairly rich, clean with no discernible dryness. Perfectly fine but lacks character.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml. bottle, at home. Aroma: Pronounced oak; moderate juice sweetness nearly balanced by a marked astringency. Appearance: Goldish copper pour with sparkling carbonation (you can hear this stuff fizzle from your seat!); all those bubbles actually support a thin white cap, which is a cider first for me. Flavor: Juicy, sweet and oaky up front; the interesting astringency of the nose is lost, unfortunately. The finale is pretty abrupt, and dry. Palate: Light body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: I’d drink it again if offered; it has some points of interest, but is a bit out of my price range to be a repeat customer ($5.49 for my bottle).

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20
Pours deep copper with faint effervescence under a thin ring of white head. Off-putting aroma of bubblegum and rotten eggs. Sour, sulfuric taste with a splash of green apple, but the awfulness lingers. Maybe had the feel of mineral water on the tongue but I couldn’t concentrate on palate, I could only suffer through a few sips for the sake of review and then total drain pour. Which is a shame because this was a pint bottle and not what I’d consider “cheap”. My overall-score may be considered harsh by some, but I have not had something this sickening pass my lips since I vomited this past winter due to stomach flu. Glancing at a few reviews below, maybe this particular bottle has been over-shelved... but that needs to be the bottle-shop’s concern, not mine. I would suggest against buying Green Goblin here: ~~~~~~~~ 500ml Bottle, Kenwood Liquors, Oak Lawn, IL.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a golden yellow color with aromas of light sour green apples, and some light oak. Flavors matched the aromas, not bad for a cider, but also not what i was expecting, was hoping for some dryness, not the sourness, but still decent.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a deep golden, suspiciously so with no coloring listed on the ingredients. Lots of fiz, borderline too much. Doesn't grab you taste wise. Light oak, light sweetness but balanced by dryness. Everything is balanced one step too low. Meh

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours clear golden with a thick and frothy but effervescent eggshell head. Crisp, slightly sour apple aroma has a hint of oak. Flavor is crisp, slightly sour, slightly sweet - typical, but enjoyable. Texture is somewhat fizzy, and a little thin. Go ahead, gobble it in.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury. Pours clear gold, no head. High carbonation. Light apple aromas, not much on the nose. Taste is sweet apple, faint wood notes. Not great to be honest.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Weak aroma of apples and cereal. Hints of phenols and very slight rag.
Clear, light golden color.
Tastes like apple juice mixed with champaign. Sweet and sour in the beginning, but it gets dry on the finish.
