COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in 500ml glass bottles.
NOTE: The label carries the subtext "Oak Aged Cider" but there are not two separate products.
Thatchers made Green Goblin cider for Wychwood Brewery which owned the brand. In March 2010 Thatchers Cider acquired the brand from Wychwood under licence. The cider is no longer sold under the Wychwood label.

The Green Goblin from deep in the wood - 100 year-old oak vats, that is.
Made with English apples, and matured in oak vats, Green Goblin cider is a full-flavoured, bittersweet blend, beautifully balanced to give a fresh character with a medium dry finish.

Bottled sample. Spicey apple aroma. Pours with a light bronze hue and no head. Well carbonated. Rich, slighty bitter apple flavour. Very drinkable.

500ml bottle shared by Pizz5116, "borrowed" from AC Beerfest 2014. Pours a clear golden orange color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of strawberry starburst and sweet apples. Taste of sweet apples, sugar, and absolutely no barrel aged characteristics. Taste like a run of the mill cider.

Fruity and herbal scent. Rich, clear auburn colour. Quite sweet with flavours of apple, pear, honey, allspice. Medium body with lively carbonation. Quite a tasty cider. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a thin and fast disappearing white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma is plain mature apple with oak. Flavor is much the same as aroma, mature apples and oak. Medium to sweet. Medium body and average aftertaste. Nothing special really, but no faults and well balanced. Easy and pleasant to drink.

edsspoon (309) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 18, 2014
Bottle - light amber with a short lived beige head. Aroma is apples with some notes of earthiness, vanilla and oak. Taste is mildly sweet apple followed by some tartness, pear and spices and some hints of oak with a medium to strong sweet finish. Medium body, light carbonation. This certainly exceeded expectations.
