2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask @ The Cider House, Bridgnorth, an absolute joke of a cider pub! Pours a cloudy yellow with a fair dose of barnyard funk in the nose and palette. Fairly straightforward medium-sweet taste with a light, green apple fruitiness and slight wooden element to keep it from being too boring. Not great but there are much worse ciders out there.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Half at the Sun Inn pub in Beamish museum. Apple and oak aroma’s, similar flavours. Watery palate, and overall, I found it rather simplistic: it’s a bit worrying when you get bored halfway down a half! It was refreshing enough on a hot day though.
