50 cl, bottled. Pours clear orange-tinted gold with a small white head. Aroma: Apples. Taste: Medium+ sweet, some pleasant acidity. Apples. Some wood/earthy like flavours, mildly towards mould. Palate: Quite light body, a bit dry.. Refreshing carbonation. Not bad.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 lusikka (4039) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 13, 2013
500 ml bottle.
Pours a clear goldeb colour with a white small head. Aroma of wood, urinal cake and fruit cake. Flavour of tart green apples, citrus, vanilla and berries. Light bodied, high carbonation and a dry, woody, tart finish. Decent.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mikkopen (662) - Oulu, FINLAND - APR 11, 2013
500 ml bottle. Clear golden colour, thin and quickly dissipating white head. Nice tart apple aroma. Sweetish flavour of ripe apples, with a warm, sligthly woody finish. Quite nice.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jimthechap (1193) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 31, 2012
Deep orange/yellow colour similar to a dehydrated urinary secretion... but with bubles in it. Very little white head. Aromas of ripe apples and even a touch of interior housepaint. It could be interpreted that I didn’t like this. Not true. The impression was dodgy, but the execution was flavours of ripe apples, some sweetness and an enduring tartness. Not the most memorable cider, but very pleasant indeed.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JorisPPattyn (7298) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 29, 2012
Short-lived white head, copper-golden, (initially) quite carbonated cider. Pretty intense (dried) applenose, bit soapy, bit straw. Soft/mild-sweet, but also rather dull appleflavour, bit perfumey. Finish however, is pleasantly dry, even with marked dry-out effect; tannins or the appleskins?. Slick. Certainly decent, if not great.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DruncanVeasey (6101) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2012
500ml. Brilliant gold with no head and little visible carbonation. Aroma like a pedal bin softly humming with discarded peel and household waste; peel-rubbed inner tube again, dab of vanilla and spice from the oak; Asti Spumante. Sweeter but marginally more interesting than the last cider (Aspall Dry Premier Cru) with a pleasant, sherbety sweet-sour tang; sweet red and tart green fruit scrapping it out. Lethally easy to slug and disappearing fast. Finally some lingering acidity flecked with vanilla. Not bad I suppose. But it’s hardly beer, is it?
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 olliejobbins (326) - Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2012
500ml bottle. Excellent fruity aroma. Smells of fresh apples. Taste is similar - slightly sharp apples. Rather dry but I enjoyed it a lot
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 McTapps (1463) - Ruhrgebiet, GERMANY - SEP 23, 2012
Bottle bought at co-op on holidays. Light amber in colour, absolutely no head. Aroma of very ripe apples. Taste is delicious of ripe, sweet apples, but then it goes over to some dry casks and finishes in a very bitter, sour, vinegar-like palate. No good for me.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 MichaelBruch (1463) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - SEP 23, 2012
Bottle shared with McTapps. Starts crazy sour, in the middle a bit more tastier and ends dry. Tough one surprisingly. Look is better than taste.
