You can’t taste the alcohole in it like you can in some other ciders. Light gold with low carbonation. Starts very sour and slowly becomes sweet. Tangy finish. You can feel the wood from the barrels.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 sm89walt (1344) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2011
500ml bottle. Fading fizzy white head, clear & effervescent pale yellow body. Tangy green apple, a funky woodiness & a slightly sulphurous aroma. An instant hit of sweet red apples on the tongue. A delicate underlying tangy astringency & an even subtler apple peel bitterness that could do with being amping up. Spritzy on the palate, light, crisp & refreshing but a short, sugary, slightly vinuous profile leaving some residual sweetness on the palate. Despite its minor shortcomings, it’s a highly drinkable alcholic apple juice.
