COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A medium dry cider made from a blend of apple varieties. Mostly bottled but also available on draught in the Wetherspoons Spring 2010 festival at 4.9%

Legend has it that every night, under the cover of darkness, a wily old fox crept out of his den at the bottom of our orchard and tiptoed his way to the cider store to help himself to fresh supplies.
It’s understandable though, once they have a taste, most people can’t get enough of this rather distinctive Somerset cider.

Bottle @ #h-J14, 20/06/14. Pours a yellowy gold with no head. Aroma is sweetish apple. Taste is semi-sweet, apple, some floweriness, pear is fairly strong. Light with strong carbonation. Not that great.

Clear, a bit toned-down and rather more watery, but no off notes here; it’s well-blended, crisp, and generally delicious (if over-filtered?)

Appearance: Clear amber with the white head. Aroma: Apple, chalky. mineral, light caramel and underlying earthiness. Taste: Medium sweetness, low acidity, light/medium tannin. Palate: Thick smooth texture, light/medium body, prickly carbonation, lingering dry, apple, caramel finish which is quite sweet. Comments: Tasty and refreshing.

Quite dark coloured for a medium dry cider. Smells of dry, crisp apples but flavour is slightly sweeter. Well balanced, mainly apple flavour with some softer fruit flavour as well. Not much in the way of carbonation which really suits this cider. Nice!

500ml bottle. Pours a clear deep golden amber colour, with a foamy white head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, woody. Crisp apple flavour, juicy sweet with light wood. Slightly watery, light to medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, clean finish. Quite OK.

Deep golden colour with no head and medium to smooth body. Nose of ripe apples. Taste of ripe sour red apples, vanilla and leaves. Light dry finish. Very easy and nice to drink, not too high sugary. Really nice and tasty cider.
