A medium dry cider made from a blend of apple varieties. Mostly bottled but also available on draught in the Wetherspoons Spring 2010 festival at 4.9%

Legend has it that every night, under the cover of darkness, a wily old fox crept out of his den at the bottom of our orchard and tiptoed his way to the cider store to help himself to fresh supplies.
It’s understandable though, once they have a taste, most people can’t get enough of this rather distinctive Somerset cider.

Orang to yellow gold in colour with aromas of candy sugar, apple chews and blossom. Flavours closely mirror the aroma description with lovely sherbety carbonation. I’m not as big a fan of this as I am the Cox’s from the same cidery but still a fan.

Very sweet aroma. Deliciously bubbly and light. Just perfect for a sunny spring day. A little syrupy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml bottle. Clear golden orange colour, no head. Sweetish-sour apple aroma with earthy notes. The flavour is sweetish, rather juice-like, with light woody notes. OK, but nothing special.

Bottle. Aroma tobacco, animal, apples. Clear golden colour. Taste has balanced sweetness and sourness, nice apple flavour character. Moreish, dryish finish. Good one.

Good knows who writes the label copy for these bottles, but I’d sack them if I was Thatchers. This is a thin, dry, easy drinking cider.

Bottle @ #h-J14, 20/06/14. Pours a yellowy gold with no head. Aroma is sweetish apple. Taste is semi-sweet, apple, some floweriness, pear is fairly strong. Light with strong carbonation. Not that great.

Clear, a bit toned-down and rather more watery, but no off notes here; it’s well-blended, crisp, and generally delicious (if over-filtered?)

Appearance: Clear amber with the white head. Aroma: Apple, chalky. mineral, light caramel and underlying earthiness. Taste: Medium sweetness, low acidity, light/medium tannin. Palate: Thick smooth texture, light/medium body, prickly carbonation, lingering dry, apple, caramel finish which is quite sweet. Comments: Tasty and refreshing.
