Pint at Ottawa brew pub. Extremely milky deep golden with a rocky white head. Pineapple juice and tropical fruits, a little peppery, a touch dank/resinous, nice enough. Medium+ body, prickly, fine effervescence. Plenty of tropical fruit notes, pineapple juice, a little dank hops, slightly peppery, decent; dry with waxen bitterness and a peppery, estery, slightly yeasty finish.

A milkey yellow wit with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth grassy banana malt with cloves, lemon and light sulfur, very nice. in mouth, a smooth banana and cloves, ginger, spiced up wit with herbal bitterness, well done. On tap at 3 Brewers Ottawa, Jan 24 2012.

Enjoyed at the new Ottawa brewpub. Pours a very cloudy, golden-beige-amber colour, with a white cap, average retention and decent lacing. Almost looks like pineapple juice. Nice Belgian Ale yeast smell with citrus notes. Flavours of bitter orange rind with the citrus and yeast mixing well again. Bitterness and mild dryness in the finish. Hints of grapefruits. After having some food, I feel the Belgian Ale yeast come out. Really unfiltered, looking like a real homebrew. The bitterness is more than normally found in a witbier. I really like it.

Sample at the Ottawa brewpub. Cloudy yellow/orange hybrid that resembles a mango smoothie with no head. Quite fruity with hints of citrus, wheat is muted although its present, bit of corriander. Mild body and moderate carbonation, tad too sweet for my liking, more wheat and fruit on the finish. Interesting beer.
