Bottle. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small tan head. Has a slightly roasted malty hoppy piney aroma. Fruity malty peachy hoppy bitter piney flavor. Has a fruity malty peachy hoppy bitter finish.

(12oz bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a thick creamy beige head. Aroma of grain, pine, grapefruit, chocolate, and caramel. Flavor of roasted malt, pine, earth, grapefruit, and chocolate with a moderately bitter finish.

Medium brown and smells great - lots of bright, grapefruity, weedy hops. Quite dry, again with lots of woody hops. Hints of sweetish, nutty malts pull it together. Clean like a Stone beer, and deceptively simple, everything just comes together really well.

12oz bottle. Opaque black body, medium beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, caramel, light floral. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some chococaramel, light lemon. Medium body, some resin, acidity, light stickiness.

Bottle from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Moderate cat pee aroma over some mildly roasted malt. Med + body. Flavor is very cat pee with some resin notes over the roast malt. Clear, clean, .... Cat pee. Most brilliant ale.

Bottle. Poured dark brown color with a large frothy brown head that lasted and produced excellent lacing. Heavy complex toasted earthy citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation with small particles. Heavy bittersweet flavor with a heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a very good complex beer.

Draft. Almost black in color, bright white head. Aroma of pine > grass > chocolate. Taste is dark roasted and toasted bread. Nice.

12oz bottle. Brown pour with a large sized off white head. Pine, caramel and roasty aromas. Pine, roast, chocolate, some caramel, and some earth in the tastes.

Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of skunk bud, earthiness, pine, grapefruit, light roastiness and light tropical fruit. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of roastiness, earthiness, skunk bud, pine, grapefrut and light tropical fruit with a crisp dry moderatly bitter lingering fruity finish.
