4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark brown pour, off white head. Very straigh forward aroma of hops and light caramel malt. The flavor is smooth, creamy, hoppy, malty, lightly bitter but not over the top and is a damn good brew!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ home. Fairly cloudy, deep brown appearance with a light brown head that dissipates pretty quickly leaving a few large bubbles. Super piney, ganja, very resiny hoppy, roasted dark malty aroma. Huge resiny, piney hoppy, sitcky, organic, roasty dark chocolate malty flavor. Resiny, roasty aftertaste. Really a big resiny, ganja flavored black IPA. I may be picking up some more of this, though it is a little pricey for a single 12 oz.

355mL thanks to tastybeer. Clear brown with thick clumbs of yeast particulate. Pours a thicker, rocky buttermilk head with sheets of lace. Nose is super dank, huge hop resin, fatty tree nuts, meaty melons. Taste thick, spicy, big Asian melons with savory components. Really nice Black IPA.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle. cola brown body with a mocha colored head, small-bubbled, quickly dissipating. resinous grapefruit and cocoa powder nose (mild roast, light toffee, more of a caramelized orange / citrus juice aroma). extremely bitter and astringent, wholly out of balance, like sucking on grapefruit skin. pungent hop acids and dark malts and roast (though mild) create a cream cheese and sulfuric egg note. yummy.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours with a very deep brown body with a rather large and lasting, foamy off-white head that leaves good lace and is quite retentive. Aromas are of hops: pine, tropical fruit, kiwi, lychee, some malt: roast, nutty, brown sugar, and light yeast esters. A bit of a spicy co-humulone note. Flavors are nutty, roasty, toasty, medium bitterness, a touch of bready malt and a light citrus and tropical fruit hop punch. A hint grassy. Medium to slightly thin body, a bit of earthy roast, slightly lingering bitterness and floral hop quality. Medium carbonation. Pretty decent.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottles from Capone’s and Craft. Pours turbid burnt sienna with 3-finger khaki head. Nose is vienna malt, piney hops, pineapple, mango, mild coffee. Has an initial blast of resiny sticky hops, followed by the malt, some tropical fruit, and some finishing malty bitterness. The malt does a good job of complementing the hops here.
