750 ml bottle to snifter. Looks good; a somewhat hazy pineapple with white head that dissipates quickly and entirely. Smells tart and rummy with a nice light peach presence in the background. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly smooth mouthfeel that’s medium-bodied. Delicious!

Bottle at a bottle share. Pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with a moderate white head on there. Nose is sour with some dry and funky notes to it. Taste is moderately sweet up front, actually, with a nicely sour fruity end to it. Yum...

Bottle:   First off, big thanks to after4ever for sharing this absolute gem of a beer.   Bright, floral, barnish, tart yet sweet.   Champagne and white wine notes.   The carbonation just dances on your tongue.   Slight fruitiness, soft peach and citrus bits.   Great balance, wonderful body.   So unique too!   Gives me goosebumps!   One of the better beers I have had in a long while!   Thanks for sharing Tom!   This should easily be a top 100 beer, if not top 50.

750, corked, strung with twine, and stickered. It’s a regular green bottle, but you’re really not ready for how good the contents are. I wish I could get at least a case of this. Pours a very slightly hazy medium pale gold with fizzy white head that goes away pretty quickly and tons of steadily rising nucleation columns. Big beautiful nose,. barnyard at first, then wet hay, then lemons, then peaches. Variable, mutable, beautiful. Creamy light effervescent body. Bright forward lemony chardonnay notes, wet hay, soft barnyard, bright minerally champagne. Beautiful balance across the mid palate. Magnificent. Finishes dry with earthy and sweet counterpoints. You really can’t ask for much more than this.

750 thanks to some awesome dude. I spied this one out! Pours a mostly clear golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is massive brett, some fruit, maybe more peaches than rum. Again with the flavor I get a massive brett and funky fruity brew, wonderful fluffy palate, a bit of sweet toffee perhaps (rum?), peaches for sure. Soft and very tasty. Awesome.

Poured from bottle to glass. Hazy straw hue with fizzy white head. Aroma is huge peaches, wood, straw, slight funk, peppercorn. Mouthfeel is great with light body and nice carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a woody astringent following and fruit ester & ethanol finish. Overall this was an amazing brew!

Bottle generously shared by Tony. Cloudy straw yellow pour with a white head. White peach aromas. Delicious with white peaches, citrus and oak notes. Superb balance. Complex and fantastic. Very good mouthfeel and body.

Bottle @ What the Funk Denver 2014. Hazy yellow appearance with an off white head. The aroma was pretty strange. I got some gunpowder notes in the nose that you get from firecrackers on the 4th of July. Some soapy and white grape notes as well. More light fruit in the flavor. White grape, apple, apricot, and peach. Moderately funky. Finishes pretty smooth. The aroma was kind of off putting but not an overall bad beer.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2014 I don’t get any rum or much peach but this is a pretty darn good American sour with a typically tart light fruit flavor that could pass for peach or some other stonefruit. A bit more sour than I love but quite tasty.

Bottle (thanks goodbyeohio)... Poured hazy pale yellow with a thin, lacy white head. Aroma of funk and barn-like musk with hay and citrus zest. Tasted of freah, fleshy stone fruit with some lactic tartness and a slight dryness towards the finish. Clean and just right with funk and not too far on either sourness or musk. One of the best Ale Apoths I have had.
