750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Originally reviewed 3/31/2014. Hazy pale orange, almost yellow. No real head. Very thin collar. Smell is light lemony tartness. Yeasty herbal aroma. Some rum. Oak. Light fruitiness. Taste has a bright fruitiness. Light tartness. Dry. Lemon and some stone fruit. Not much peach. Oak and some rum liquor in the back. A little bit of herbal flavor in the finish, too. Medium body. Crisp. Nice tartness. Not a lot of the adjuncts here, but it’s still a great beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with small off white head. The aroma is strong rum, peach skin, funk. Thin mouth with great peach flavor, light funk, light sweetness from the rum, really enjoyed this one.

25.4 oz bottle. Beautiful nose and flavor of tart, rum soaked peaches. Perfectly balanced tart/acetic notes and fruit sweetness. Exquisite!

Bottle @ Aaron’s Wedding Eve Shindig. Thanks, Steve...I believe. Clear straw colored beer with minimal foam. Lots of lemon and alcohol character to the nose. Has a slight oxidized/cardboard note to it as well. Woody, fruity...not necessarily peach, though. Low carbonation doesn’t quite work for me either. Not a big fan.

Bottle at Aaron’s Pre-Wedding Bash. Pour is clear yellow with no head. Big sour aroma - lemons, acidic, biscuit, oaky, peaches, some pepper and flowers in the aroma. Taste is tangy, lemony, biscuity, heavy oaky, white grapes, and apples with a big sour finish. Slick mouthfeel with low carbonation. Kind of a letdown.

Bottle at the Bailey’s event. Thrilled at the chance to try this. A: Clear gold, white ring of head, lacing. N: Peach, lemon, oak, light rum, grapefruit rind, cracker, some white wine/chardonnay, funk, cheese and barnyards. T: Quite sour, lightly sweet from the fruit. M: Medium body, light carbonation, no alcohol presence. O: A really good variation of La Tache. Very different from Block 15 Peche and Logsdon Peche N Brett, which is a good thing as far as I’m concerned. Definitely one to try if you can find it.

Bottle (dregs)... This beer rocks!… Pours murky and straw-colored with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is a funky, acidic and fruity collage of lemons, aged cheese, barnyard notes and a measureable peach component that’s not at all overbearing. Medium-bodied with modest carbonation. The flavor is lightly sour, bready and fruity - peaches and lemons. Finishes fruity, tart and lightly sweet. Thanks to newcigarz for sharing this world class bottle of beer!

Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Pine, fruit and tart aromas. Oakes, woody, not much rum at all, fruit and tart flavors.

Well, was planning to down this with Jace Marti, but alas, Delta airlines fucked us. Pours golden and turbid with a near glass surface, little head or foam presence. Smells of sweet and tart peaches, some oak, not much rum, lemon, some soily earth, maybe a touch of cream. Flavor is tart with some more lemon, sharp grain, tannic oak, some vitamin and a hint of sweet rum. Thin with surprisingly high carb for the appearance, but a prickly feel to it and a nice wet finish. Nice beer. Prolly not worth the asking price in many respects, but a nice beer.
