Tasted on 2/8/14 from a 750mL bottle at the RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours cloudy yellow with a thick white head that slowly recedes to thick lace. The nose is dry sourdough, a touch of lemon peel, and a ton of funky and vinous yeast. The flavor is a bit more tart with gooseberry, lemon, very dry, vinous, and spicy with a touch of lightly sweet Meyer lemon. The body is lactic full with lively but smooth carbonation, and a long tart vinous finish.

Pours a large frothy white was atop a cloudy gold body. Nose of sour yet very Belgian and coriander. Flavour is amazing. I’m loving this brewery.

Pours golden yellow with a creamy white head. Aroma of lemons, light funk, oak. Taste is crisp and clean. Same as aroma with slight wine notes and sticky finish. Excellent beer. 10% but no booze whatsoever. Refreshing and drinkable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml corked bottle (Batch Dec 19 2013 10.11%alc/vol) pours a hazy golden yellow color with a massive white head decent retention leaving some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is lemon, white wine, yeast, light fruits (perhaps apple). Taste is a lemon sourness with a fruity and malty sweetness, a light white wine dryness and light citrus hop bitterness. A complex and well crafted brew, but not one of my favorite styles, although I still recommend it for others who can appreciate this style.

Sample from bottle. Tastes like a nicely tart saison. Lots of fruit, citrus and more. Very nice.

750 ml bottle from Corvallis shop. Pours big carbonation. Aroma is wine and yeast. Tart taste. Lemon. Holy mackerel. Damn good. Saison all the way. Sour doesn’t do the style justice.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared by Dogbones). Looks good; a hazy lemon yellow with white head and a bit of tiny sediment. Smells good too; white wine, oak, funk, and lemon zest. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Good stuff!

750 ml corked bottle. Bottled 10/18/13; 10.24% ABV. Aroma is bretty, vinegar, lemon, earth, light wood, fan-freaking-tastic. Pours hazy golden with a two-finger white head with decent retention. Taste is lightly sweet, sour (6/10 on a sour scale), finishing savory. Nice sauvignon blanc character, along with some green apple, peach. Not quite champagne-like in effervescence, but quite highly carbonated. Very different and unique.
