Bottle pour, thanks Brad. Hazy straw color, small white head. Subtle musty lemon aroma, big floral notes. Tastes a lot different than it smells, fairly sweet, a bit fruity and a hint tart. Undercarbonated.

Extremely nice surprise, thanks to friend from OR. Honestly I was not expecting this beer to be this complex: Nice aroma - bread, funk, lime, wild yeast, pours a nice golden clear beer with a solid head, taste is where this baby takes off - extremely complex with lots of funk, fruits, earth, and some bitterness! Highly impressed, too bad I can’t get any more for some time..
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 writerljberg (222) - Oregon, USA - APR 7, 2013
750ml bottle from Belmont Station.
A: Cloudy orange color with a half inch of firm white head. A slight glass stain for legs.
N: Lemon, grapefruit, straw, horse blanket, and ample oak. Candied oranges. Wine is pronounced with the vinous white grape, some melon and apricot. Esters. This is very inviting.
T: Mixture of sourness, oak, and a back end malt which rounds out the flavors. Balanced and delicate without sacrificing intensity.
M: Full, well-carbonated, and smooth.
O: I’m going to load up on bottles of this. Really, really nice stuff. Bravo.

750ml bottle pours a hazy gold with some frothy white head. Nose is herbal, tart, lavender, dusty, flower pollen, white grape, white peach, fresh squeezed orange juice. Flavor is really heavy with unripened peaches, kumquats, orange juice, lemon zest, herbal, lavender, white grape, light wood shaving. Lightly sweet, otherwise herbal finish. Very nice. Well crafted.

Thanks to Darrell for sharing. Also huge thanks to boralyl for getting me out a bottle of this. Bottled Novemver 9, 2012.
Pours a lightly cloudy light straw color. Nice fluffy head with good retention. The nose contains light sulfur, cheese, wheat, and hay. Some backing lemon and other faint citrus. Really extraordinarily complex and interesting. The flavor ups the lemon and brings really integrates everything beautifully. Acidity is a fantastic component in the background without being too heavy. A bit of backing wine with a touch of pepper and phenols.
Absolutely fantastic. I’m blown away by this beer.

Batch Nov 09 2012

The beer is light golden with a small, fizzy white head. The aroma offers lemons, wild yeast, grass, funk. Herbal and earthy tones with a delicate sweetness balanced by a light funk. Highly drinkable and really smooth on the palate. This one is a sleeper. Light spice quality. Beautiful balance and so easy to drink. Where is the alcohol presence? Masterfully hidden. A truly fabulous beer.
