4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle (750 ml). Slightly hazy yellow with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is very lemon/lime forward and reminds me of the Barrel-Aged Flora Rustica that I drank a couple of weeks ago. There’s also winey notes, oak, brettanomyces, yeast and light spices. Taste is also mainly of lemon/lime along with wine, oak, light vanilla, brettanomyces and light spices. Nice citric/acidic touch. Alcohol is very well hidden (our bottle said 11,03% abv). Medium body. Fizzy carbonation. Slightly winey mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. Very good lemon/lime forward golden ale. The wine barrel give this beer a couple layers of complexity. Really drinkable, especially considering the high abv. It’s my second beer from this brewery (the other was La Tache) and I’m really impressed. I will definitely look for their other beers!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Daniel in trade. Aroma and flavor of saisony wild ale with lots of carbonation and lots of chardonnay barrel. Palate is amazing on this one, pretty delicate and refreshing. Great beer.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2013 Yellow, light gold in color, a little hazy, pretty high level of carbonation. The head of the beer fades fast and is mostly due to the high carb. A good level of sourness but not completely over powering. Citrusy, tart with earthy oak undertones. Overall this is a extremely good and balanced

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Big bottle picked up in Corvallis. Pours a mostly clear copper color with a large white head. Deep funky flavors with toast, leaves, lemon. Light tartness, some funk, white wine, vinous at times, fluffy palate, earthy. Caramel and more citrus zest. Really good. Mellow and drinkable but complex. Impressive.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
750, corked and strung. Thanks, A & E! You guys are awesome. What a great treat. Pours a murky medium amber with bright golden blond edges and a dense and creamy platinum blond head that starts out as a gigantic PITA and never really goes away. You’re constantly dealing with huge cotton balls of lace and an endless supply of head that endless threatens to geyser over the top of the glass if you’re not careful with the pour. Big tart swanky nose, lots of lemon, some basement, strawberries, some egg yolk...this cat just flat knows how to get parallel lines to fall into patterns like railroad tracks. The aromatics bundle together in a harmonious sequence of fairly disparate qualities that end up being much more interesting together. Creamy medium body with boundlessly lively carb. Tart caramel, lemon, basement, strawberries, moss, egg yolk, and mineral dryness on the mid palate. The mineral notes assert more near the end, along with the strawberries, leaving the swallow and the follow a nice cling of berries and rocks. This is a wonderful beer and I should drink it all the fucking time.
