Really liked this one. Pours light straw some head. Notes of barnyard, yeast and lemon. Tastes were medium to big sour. Good acidic bite in mouth.

This is batch 2, bottled 27SEP12
Pours a light straw yellow with a fine white sheet. Nose orgy. So, I’ve never had sex in my nose, but this is like being educated by someone well adapted to teaching different angles, speeds, depths, etc. So, up front, the manure funk, nice something I can’t finger - maybe a bit of anise/wormwood character with a bit of soaked wood. Super complex nose. A nice farm character, really deep character. There’s a good fantome, hill farmstead depth to this beer. Thin bodied with a fine, velvety carb and an ambitiously intriguing finish. Kinda dry, kinda cloying. There is a touch of sweetness.
Certainly this is a wild ale, but not in the "traditional" sense - really insane, not tart/sour like most expect. If you though BRUX was fun and interesting, this will blow your goddam cranium to pieces.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
(Was disturbed during our tasting, will have to re-rate! ;) Pours a hazy yellow with a good white head that leave superior lacing. Aroma of fruits (yellow), hops, brett. Taste is sweet with a good balancing tartness, feeling juicy. Carbonation was good, I believe I downed my glass quite fast (to catch up with the others). Really good altough I’m sure I didn’t enjoy all the subtleties.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
pours unclear and bright yellow with a very nice frothy white head, good retention and lacing. very dusty and leathery bretts, white wine, juicy fruitiness - pineapple and cantaloupe, hayish and lightly doughy malts, citrus, spices, herbs. bright yet soft carbonation, light body - oily, abv incredibly well hidden, nice and welcoming light acidity, tart and spicy-herbal-grassy astringent finish. smooth. this stuff is excellent!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle (750 ml). Slightly hazy yellow with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is very lemon/lime forward and reminds me of the Barrel-Aged Flora Rustica that I drank a couple of weeks ago. There’s also winey notes, oak, brettanomyces, yeast and light spices. Taste is also mainly of lemon/lime along with wine, oak, light vanilla, brettanomyces and light spices. Nice citric/acidic touch. Alcohol is very well hidden (our bottle said 11,03% abv). Medium body. Fizzy carbonation. Slightly winey mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. Very good lemon/lime forward golden ale. The wine barrel give this beer a couple layers of complexity. Really drinkable, especially considering the high abv. It’s my second beer from this brewery (the other was La Tache) and I’m really impressed. I will definitely look for their other beers!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Daniel in trade. Aroma and flavor of saisony wild ale with lots of carbonation and lots of chardonnay barrel. Palate is amazing on this one, pretty delicate and refreshing. Great beer.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2013 Yellow, light gold in color, a little hazy, pretty high level of carbonation. The head of the beer fades fast and is mostly due to the high carb. A good level of sourness but not completely over powering. Citrusy, tart with earthy oak undertones. Overall this is a extremely good and balanced
