4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle. Pale gold with white foam. Nose is funky, hint of gueuze-like cheese, and has a nice influence from the barrels. Tastes bright, sour, lemon citrussy, honey, again nice wine barrel twang. Hides the 10% well. Lovely classy sour. Really wish I had easy access to their beers.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 ml bottle, batch October 18 2013- Pours slightly hazy golden on the first pour with a foamy two finger white head that slowly reduces but never quite goes away and nice sheeting lace. Aroma is pungent, citrusy, tart, wet basement, brett. The taste lives up to the aroma, funky bretty goodness, yeasty, not as tart as the aroma led on, not sure which type of wine barrels they used, but I would hope it was something like sauvignon blanc, but I could be way off on that. Body is medium and carbonation is high. Very much enjoyed this massively complex brew.

At Levi’s tasting. Lots of brett in the aroma. Yellow and very well carbonated with a tall head. Citrus, some sugar, but predominately sour.

Hazy yellow pour with a thick white head. Grassy and funky nose. Really fun taste. Sweet taste and a bit of a sweet finish. Hints of apple and apricot and other fruits that I can’t put my finger on. Thanks to Ryan for sharing!

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from a trade with a friend. Shared with Dan and Sean at the Pig. Pours a lovely yellowish-gold with just a tinge of haze. Small white head formed and lasted with nice varied lacing. Aroma was fruits like white grapes, pears, peaches and nectarines. Also a slight funky-bretty aroma as well. The taste was so damned good. All of the fruits on the nose come through nicely and well balanced. The mild funk and tartness from the wild yeasts hit you on the finish. Modestly dry finish and light body overall. I loved it!!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted at a bottle share in a hotel room after the most recent Jackie-O’s bottle release. Hazy darker golden color. Hazy with tons of fine particles in the body. Thin white head. Some loose dots of lace. Funky bruised fermented citrus aromas. Bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick. More sweet than sour. OK wild ale. A lot of yeast character.

Bottle shared at RBWG, the Grand Tasting portion. Pours a hazy pale gold with a soft white head. Notes of lemon, yogurt, lactic funk, cheesecloth, sweet dough, wine grapes, and straw. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a sweet, funky, tart mouthfeel. Very good sour.
