Pours a large frothy white was atop a cloudy gold body. Nose of sour yet very Belgian and coriander. Flavour is amazing. Iím loving this brewery.

Thnx to vincent ( Belgbeergeek ) pours fuzzy blonde / A bit like a white . Small white head You can smell the barrel, also some fleshy, organic thing to it , Berries ??? Good carbo . much funk , sour, rather dry , some berry-like taste that gets more intence towards the aftertaste . very nice !

Generously shared by Harpreet at the Livermore Saloon. Thanks! It pours a hazy light gold color with a fluffy white head. The aroma is full of moldy peaches and light farty funk. Thereís some breadiness in there with wood, white wine and citric acid. The flavor has light, sweet tangerines, tropical fruit, sauvignon blanc grapes and spicy, funky brett in the finish. Itís only lightly sour with a full body and creamy mouthfeel. I wasnít into the fecal heavy aroma, but the flavors and mouthfeel were superb. Really nice sour.

Bottle... Poured hazy, somewhate of a pinkish/orange with a thin, lacy head. The nose was awesome here. Reminded me of cocktail bitters with the earthiness and spiciness. Tasted mildly tart with noticeable acidity. Some other funk and wine barrel tones. Mildly vinous, but the wine barrels didnt dominate and the beer could show its true colors. Fruits, floral and earthy spicing, and a little but of dryness towards the finish.

Pours hazy golden, thin whitish head. Aroma is strongly fruity, citrus and grape mainly. Flavor echoes the fruit notes of the aroma and throws in a bit of malt. Texture has average thickness and fizz, but it goes down well.

Bottle (750 ml). Slightly hazy yellow with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is very lemon/lime forward and reminds me of the Barrel-Aged Flora Rustica that I drank a couple of weeks ago. Thereís also winey notes, oak, brettanomyces, yeast and light spices. Taste is also mainly of lemon/lime along with wine, oak, light vanilla, brettanomyces and light spices. Nice citric/acidic touch. Alcohol is very well hidden (our bottle said 11,03% abv). Medium body. Fizzy carbonation. Slightly winey mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. Very good lemon/lime forward golden ale. The wine barrel give this beer a couple layers of complexity. Really drinkable, especially considering the high abv. Itís my second beer from this brewery (the other was La Tache) and Iím really impressed. I will definitely look for their other beers!

Bottle, thanks Jack for sharing. This was quite tasty. Reminded me of Hill Farmstead Ann and Tired Hands HandFarmóboth wine barrel aged saison/sours. Lots of funk- pineapple, cotton candy, light stone fruit in the nose with a good dose of vinous white wine barrel. Flavor follows suit with a strong barrel finish. Great beer with booze well hidden.

Bottle at Culmination Fest: Poured an orange with a white colored head. Aroma was citrus sour fruit. Taste was sappy fruit with a wine like character.

A steady pour into my large Tripel Karmeliet tulip produces a three finger thick, plus two additional above the rim, pale tan colored head that I need to periodically suck foam from in order to keep it from overflowing. The head leaves lots of lacing on the sides of my glass and as it slowly subsides creates quite a bit of structural texture. The beer is a pale honey color that shows a clear, yellow-gold hue when held up to the light. The aroma smells funky, earthy, grainy, and tart up front. Fruit notes of floral apples, white wine like sharpness, and touches of tropical fruit that leans towards kiwis, perhaps a hint of lychees, a bit of citrus (that the tartness brings out) and star fruit is backed by some peppery spice notes, earthy, musty, almost coriander like notes, and a bit of green, spicy fruit character. There is a solid cracker like grain character, and savory pale malt note that comes out after a second pour of this beer that is really quite nice and almost savory.

Lightly sour throughout, this has a nicely balancing, tannic, woody flavor and texture to it, as well as a spicy, peppery finish to it. There is an ample fruitiness to the beer with notes of floral apple, tart star-fruit, ripe honeydew melon, a bit of musk mellon, some soft pear notes (especially towards the finish), and a tropical white wine like note that reminds me of a ripe, funky Sauvignon Blanc. This has a nice lush texture without being heavy, in fact the beer is dangerously quaffable, and I was surprised to see how strong this beer actually was. There is a very soft mustiness to this beer, it accentuates the earthy spiciness, has a touch of phenolic character to it, and just a bit of a funky edge. The oak is nicely subtle here; it contributes to the spiciness, boosts the texture, and adds a soft, savory, toasted note that nicely accentuates the pale malt character. The last has a nice pale cracker like grain note, and a bit of toothsome rustic bread like character to it.

This is a really nice beer, it has a nice sourness, and just a touch of a funky edge to it, but really is quite well balanced and integrated; the fruit character really integrates quite well with the sourness, the soft oak, the pale grain, and the lactic acidity so well, plus there is a complex, supporting fermentation character that helps to tie everything together. The oak character is especially well done; it plays an easy, supporting role that is here to only accentuate.
