Bottle, pours hazy golden with smaller top. Smell is nail polish remover and vinegar. Taste is lemon, lime, and strong oak with a slightly acidic bight. Much preferred to the smell but still not a fan.

Generously shared by Harpreet at the Livermore Saloon. Thanks! It pours a hazy light gold color with a fluffy white head. The aroma is full of moldy peaches and light farty funk. Thereís some breadiness in there with wood, white wine and citric acid. The flavor has light, sweet tangerines, tropical fruit, sauvignon blanc grapes and spicy, funky brett in the finish. Itís only lightly sour with a full body and creamy mouthfeel. I wasnít into the fecal heavy aroma, but the flavors and mouthfeel were superb. Really nice sour.

Beer Bloggers Conference - San Diego - Big sour ale. Lots of flavors and sweet, fruit finish with the light barrel aging.

750ml bottle in a teku. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of sourness / tartness, some light malts, some light oak and wine, and a good amount of floral hops. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A solid beer.

Bottle (750 ml). Slightly hazy yellow with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is very lemon/lime forward and reminds me of the Barrel-Aged Flora Rustica that I drank a couple of weeks ago. Thereís also winey notes, oak, brettanomyces, yeast and light spices. Taste is also mainly of lemon/lime along with wine, oak, light vanilla, brettanomyces and light spices. Nice citric/acidic touch. Alcohol is very well hidden (our bottle said 11,03% abv). Medium body. Fizzy carbonation. Slightly winey mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. Very good lemon/lime forward golden ale. The wine barrel give this beer a couple layers of complexity. Really drinkable, especially considering the high abv. Itís my second beer from this brewery (the other was La Tache) and Iím really impressed. I will definitely look for their other beers!

Thanks to Darrell for sharing. Also huge thanks to boralyl for getting me out a bottle of this. Bottled Novemver 9, 2012. Pours a lightly cloudy light straw color. Nice fluffy head with good retention. The nose contains light sulfur, cheese, wheat, and hay. Some backing lemon and other faint citrus. Really extraordinarily complex and interesting. The flavor ups the lemon and brings really integrates everything beautifully. Acidity is a fantastic component in the background without being too heavy. A bit of backing wine with a touch of pepper and phenols. Absolutely fantastic. Iím blown away by this beer.

Pours hazy golden, thin whitish head. Aroma is strongly fruity, citrus and grape mainly. Flavor echoes the fruit notes of the aroma and throws in a bit of malt. Texture has average thickness and fizz, but it goes down well.

On bottle at Sandar Bryghus. Hazy golden color, good foam. High aroma intensity; stable, autumn leaves, citrus . Medium body & medium/high complexity . High sourness, some bitterness. Very Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
