750 ml bottle to snifter (shared by Dogbones). Looks good; a hazy lemon yellow with white head and a bit of tiny sediment. Smells good too; white wine, oak, funk, and lemon zest. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Good stuff!

Bottle. Clear yellow pour with a big white head. Mild citrus and barrel aromas. Mildly sour with lemon zest, citrus, pear, and white grape vinous highlights. Mild caramel malt, oak, and vinegar low lights. Not overly complex or tart. Tasty and easy sippin’. A bit on the effervescent side.

illidurit (2168) - Petaluma, California, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Bottle shared at the November 2012 Santa Cruz tasting. Bizarre blend of herbal notes, mainly ginger but also a sort of Ricola-like character. Sweet doughiness, pale malts, set against a vinous acidity.

750ml corked with hemp twine tie. Quite the packaging for sure. Clear bright golden yellow. Crisp, wild, super fruity nose. Lemon, apple, some banana, lots of tropical character. Crisp pale malt, lots of fruit depth from the yeast, nuetral wood notes abound. Such a unique beer and great packaging. I’m enjoying it more as I near the end, I just don’t think I’d buy again at the price.

hopscotch (9379) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle... Pours hazy and golden with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is totally weird, but wonderful at the same time - a blend of horse blanket, dustiness, lemon peel, muskiness, and one of my patented beer farts. This is actually a good thing - I like my own flavor. Anyway, full-bodied with a whole-milk mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is tart, moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Finishes tangy with gentle bread crust bitterness. A dab of butter in the aftertaste. Bottle courtesy newcigarz!

Ferris (4746) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 20, 2013
Bottle - Candied pineapple, lemon and barnyard funk. Cloudy yellow with a rich white head. Pineapple and tropical fruit with some coriander, no sourness which is expected from the smell. The grapes from the barrel give it an additional depth. Very neat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light gold with a big head. Aroma of Brett, lacto, tropical fruit. Taste is sour, dry, bretty. Funk and oak. Really nice, funky, dry with a nice brett profile. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
