Tap. Poured clear reddish amber color with an average fizzy white head that lasted with good lacing. Good tart sour cherry & wood aroma. Medium body with tingly texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy sour&sweet fruit flavor with a solid sour&sweet fruit finish of moderate duration. Good fruit beer.

On tap at Neon’s. Definite cherry flavor. Light tart, but sweet also. Like a jolly rancher. Little wood. Above average body for the ABV, a little syrupy, with a light acidic bite. Light, crisp carbonation. Good cherry aftertaste, with just a little bite. Half hazy red color, little white head. At the moment, it’s on the sweet end of the spectrum relative to the lambics I’ve tried, but on the tasty side, too.

Draft to snifter at Neon’s. Looks good; a cloudy reddish brown with thin white lacing. Smells good too; cherries and funk. Tastes like it smells, but not quite as funky. Average on the palate. Enjoyable.

On draught at the brewpub, served in a snifter. The beer pours a murky orange-amber color with a thin light beige head that diminishes to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sour cherries and malt. Medium body with a funky character and flavors of tart fruit, malt and some insecticide. The finish is fruity with a short mildly sour aftertaste. Decent aside from the off flavor, which detracts from the experience substantially.

Draught sample at the Cleveland International Beer Fest on 5/14/11. Opaque red pour with no head. Aroma of sweet cherry and young yeast and lacto sourness. Sweet and tart cherry flavor with some funkiness before a sweet finish. Pretty nice, and would be a great gateway for those who haven’t quite crossed over into sours yet. Would love to try it with a few years on it to sour up.

On tap at the brew kettle. Pours cloudy reddish color with white head. Aroma is very good. I get a good sense of something tart and cherry to come. Then, its just a slightly tart cherry juice. I do get the funky components in there. Just not that great. Better than the first attempt though.
