Cask at Wandsworth London Beer Festival on 6 July 2013.
Big aroma of citrus fruit, orange peal and pine. Initial fruity malt sweetness gives way to floral and light resiny hop bitterness. Lots of flavour for the ABV.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Handpull at The Botanist. Clear orange-amber with a smallish frothy beige head. Simple but clean aroma - citrus and light pineapple malt, resin/spruce bitterness, pretty much zero alcohol. Taste follows, but the fruit malt givea way quickly to the dry herbal redin bitterness. Solid body, quite astringent, nicely carbonated for cask, a surprisingly long almost aggressive bitter dry finish for a beer < 4%. Well done! Not a world-beater but super solid.
